How to Get Free Admission to San Diego Theatre Performances by Helping Out or UsheringMost of the many dozens of theatres in San Diego Country depend on people like you to help out with the many aspects of producing a play. Not only is this a great way to see a play for free, but it's also a wonderful way to meet and enjoy the camaraderie of people who are also interested in theatre while contributing to the San Diego theatre community. San Diego Theatres Using Volunteer Ushers and Other Types of "Helping Out": Here are links to theatre who actively solicit volunteers on their website. Usually you are given a number to call, an email address to send a note, or a form to fill out. However, other theatrical groups may also welcome your assistance and just haven't gotten around to formally saying so on their website. If that's the case, just drop the manager a line or give him a phone call and ask if they use volunteer ushers... or need any other type of assistance.
