Patricia Rincon Dance Collective offers inexpensive ($10) salsa classes in Encinitas that are far more than just classes... . "... Welcome to the largest ongoing weekly salsa class in San Diego -- and quite possibly L.A. and S.F. too! (It's what they keep telling us.) It's been happening for six years now and it just keeps getting better. A big reason for that is because former "Jerome Robbins' Broadway" and Alvin Ailey dancers, Tony & Maria Caligagan, are teaching it. Come see why the most charming couple in the San Diego dance scene is also the most popular. Feel free to bring a friend, or a partner, to this user-friendly well-known class. Check it out... BASICS CLASS helps you to get that salsa rhythm in your body. User-friendly, safe for beginners and max fun for better dancers too. A great way to warm up for the classes to follow. If you're new to salsa, you want to get there right for the beginning of class. It's very casual/relaxed, and the teaching starts with learning to hear the count in the music (very important!)...."
